The Wesail Vaccination Antibodies Test is a qualitative rapid test that measures whether the body has produced neutralizing antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus after vaccination.
Neutralizing antibodies play an important role in the development of the Corona vaccine. By administering the vaccine, the immune system is triggered to produce neutralizing antibodies. These are the antibodies that prevent the SARS-CoV-2 virus particles from entering the healthy cells and prevent the virus particles from multiplying and causing a serious infection.
The Wesail SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination Antibodies Test detects neutralizing antibodies that target the spike protein (RBD). The neutralizing antibodies produced by the administration of COVID-19 vaccines such as Pfizer, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca and the Janssen vaccine.
Within 15 minutes, the Wesail Vaccine Antibodies Test measures the presence of neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in the blood. The test is 96.2% accurate. A positive test result confirms that the vaccination has been effective.
Is this test safe?
Yes, this test is safe. All it takes to complete the test is a sample of your blood. The self test and other similar tests are used around the world to determine the presence of antibodies (antibodies) against multiple viruses or bacteria.
How is this test different from the PCR test?
This test shows whether the person being tested has the antibodies against COVID-19 in the blood.
A PCR test can confirm whether someone has the virus and is therefore currently infected.
